Cookies Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website may place on your computer, mobile phone, tablet or another internet-connected device. They allow a website to recognise a device or remember information about a visit. Cookies can make websites work more efficiently, help maintain security and provide information about how visitors use online services.

Some cookies are placed directly by Uptown Pokies Casino. Other cookies may be placed by service providers that support website functions, security, analytics, advertising or other online features. These providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage or similar technologies. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of these technologies as cookies unless a distinction is needed.

Cookies may be session cookies or persistent cookies. Session cookies are generally removed when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. The period for which a cookie remains active can vary depending on its purpose, your browser settings and the provider that places it.

A cookie does not usually contain information that directly identifies you by name. However, information collected through cookies may sometimes be linked with other information associated with your account, device or visit. Where this occurs, the information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and our Privacy Policy.

Your choices

When required, we may ask you to select your cookie preferences through a cookie banner or preference tool. You can choose whether to allow certain optional cookies, subject to the options made available on the website. Essential cookies may continue to operate because they are needed for core functions, security or the delivery of services you request.

You can manage cookies in several ways. If a cookie preference tool is available on the website, you can use it to review or change your choices. You can also adjust your browser settings to accept, refuse, delete or restrict cookies. The process differs between browsers and devices, so you may need to consult the support or help information provided by your browser manufacturer.

1. Review the cookie options presented on the website and select the settings that suit your preferences.
2. Open your browser's privacy or security settings and review the available cookie controls.
3. Delete existing cookies from your device if you no longer want them stored.
4. Set your browser to notify you when a website attempts to place a cookie, where that option is available.
5. Review the settings on each browser and device that you use, because a choice made on one device may not apply to another.

If you disable or delete cookies, some parts of the website may become unavailable or may not operate as intended. You may need to repeat certain choices, sign in again or re-enter information. Blocking optional cookies should not generally prevent access to basic pages, but blocking essential cookies may affect account, security or session functions.

Browser controls may not remove all technologies used by every website or service. A preference tool may also use a cookie or similar storage method to remember your choice. If you clear that storage, the website may ask you to provide your preference again. Your browser's private or incognito mode may reduce local storage, but it does not necessarily prevent all information from being processed while you use an online service.

Consent and withdrawal

Where consent is required, optional cookies will be used in accordance with the choices you make. You may withdraw or change consent at any time through the available preference controls or by changing your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before your choice was changed, and it does not necessarily remove information already collected. Where appropriate, you may need to contact the relevant provider or use the controls made available by that provider.

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the website, the technologies used, service providers, legal requirements or our information-handling practices. When the policy is updated, the revised version will be made available on this page with an updated effective date where appropriate. Your continued use of the website after an update may be subject to the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.

You should check this page occasionally so that you remain aware of how cookies may be used and which choices are available. If a material change affects the way optional cookies are used, we may provide additional notice or request a new preference where appropriate.

If you have a question about this Cookies Policy, want to understand your available choices or need help locating the cookie controls, please use the contact or support channel made available through the Uptown Pokies Casino website. We will consider requests in line with applicable law, our Privacy Policy and any information reasonably needed to verify and respond to the request.

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies in general terms. It does not change any account terms, gambling conditions, responsible gambling information, privacy obligations or other rules that apply to your use of the website. If there is a difference between this policy and a specific notice shown when a cookie is collected, the more specific notice may provide additional information about that particular technology.
